Okay, I don't expect anyone to see this for a while.

A while back, I saw an item on the TV about a father-son team (the son was perhaps 12 years old) who had taken up energy-generating devices as a hobby. They would make a little electricity generating machine, hook it up to their electricity hookup, and reduce their electricity needs, and thus reduce their electric bill.

They had become so involved in this hobby that they ended up generating more electricity than they needed, and they were selling electricity back to the company.

I thought this would be such an interesting hobby to people that it would be fun and useful to people to blog about it. I promise to put up a post each day. I will be discussing the basic information such as how to convert your wind turbine's DC electricity to the AC that all our country runs on, and I will be providing ideas on machines to build.

There will be a range of suggestions, from cardboard-and-tinfoil contraptions right on up to extremely elegant machines costing thousands of dollars. I invite you to contribute your suggestions as well.

If anyone stumbles onto this blog, please bear with me. I intend to edit individual posts repeatedly, even after they're put up. But more than that, I also intend to move the plans and diagrams to a professional site sooner or later. Nothing is final.

And last, I need to raise money to live on, so there will be ads. I wish I had control over the content of those ads, but the best I can do is provide keywords and hope that useful ads show up here. Please take pity on the poor people who are paying Google to run their ads, and click on them only if you are serious about finding something. DO NOT EVER click on an ad just to donate two cents to me. I appreciate that but it's sooooooooooo damned unfair to the poor guy who's trying to sell his ebook or whatever, because it costs him money every time you do that. Hopefully, maybe some day, I'll be able to put up ads that I choose and which are useful to you.l
